The "KG-UV980P":https://www.buytwowayradios.com/wouxun-kg-uv980p.html is one of the Wouxun mobile units (the other is the GMRS model; "KG-1000G":https://www.buytwowayradios.com/wouxun-kg-1000g.html) that is only programmable via "manual-entry Chinese software":https://www.buytwowayradios.com/downloads/dl/file/id/1439/product/4635/wouxun_kg_uv980p_programming_software.zip. Considering that such software is completely impractical to use, I request a push for development for this radio. I have extensive tech/programming skills and just graduated with my degree in computer science, and am willing to aid in development if necessary.
