The Luiton LT-458 doesn't appear to be new. It seem to have been available since at least 2017. The OEM software can be found "here":http://luiton.com/sdm_downloads/lt-458-software/.

My initial comment may have been worded incorrectly. I have four LT-458 radios. 2 I bought a few years ago, and a pair I bought a week or so ago. I have the OEM programming software and it works just fine with the older pair. The new pair of radios have been updated. They look slightly different and even have a mini usb fast charging port (one of the reasons I got them). The issue is that the OEM programming software works fine for the older pair, but doesn’t seem to work for the new pair. I simply get a “Read Data Fail” which is the same error message you get when you try to program a radio that isn’t a LT 458 with that program. Luiton hasn’t updated that program in several years. I’ve tried to see if anyone else has had the same issue but can’t find anything online.

A CHIRP developer most likely cannot reverse engineer the radio's cloning protocol without a radio and working factory programming software in his/her possession. I would suggest contacting Luiton directly.
