Description

Programming new frequencies with Chirp (Baofeng_BF-888_PMR446.img) results in an issue similar to the one described in #9497. Green light is always on, there is only static noise, no transmission and no reception. Changing the squelch value in settings does not have any impact. No errors were shown on the interface. Debug log is attached.

Uploading the saved original settings (Baofeng_BF-888_original.img) with Chirp and right after uploading settings and frequencies with 888S v1.0.5 results in issue similar to what is described in #8963. Transmission power seems to be very weak (I have no way to measure it), two radios only communicate with each other if they are very close (antennas almost touching).

Could it have been Chirp overwriting a wrong memory address?
