I'm not very proficient with Mac operating system but is there any kind of debug log or crash log that you can find and attach to the ticket? I'm not sure if any of us have mac systems with that version OS to reproduce.

Thanks,
Tony

I followed the MacOS tips on the download page and installed python2.7 and got Chrip to work under OS 12.3. It works and get data from my UV-5R, but the new security rules in Mac for unsigned ops doesn't allow me to read from my hard drive. For some reason I can save the file to a new place on my hard drive but can't read it back. So I'm going to make up the file with all my repeaters on it and save it to the radio. And use the radio as my save file. I know that is not a good way to do business, but that is all I know how to do?

This isn't a question about Chirp, it's about the operating system.
You could still ask on the "mailing list":http://intrepid.danplanet.com/mailman/listinfo/chirp_users.
