Description
I just purchased a Baofeng UV-5RX3 and when opening the chirp software, my radio was not listed. Can I use the Baofeng UV5R model instead?
I tried but when I opened it and tried to import a CSV file nothing happened.

Have you tried the driver for the Radioddity model?

The Baofeng UV-5RX3 was originally sold by Radioddity. As Jim H mentioned, it can be found under the Vendor: Radioddity selection.
Also if you look at the CHIRP Supported Radio Models list on the "CHRIP home page":https://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Home (the 1st/best place you should go to see if your radio is supported and how it is supported), you will see...
