I was hoping a developer would be willing to program a CHIRP driver for the Wouxun KG-1000G GMRS radio. I've spoken to BuyTwoWayRadios.com and they said they're willing to provide a radio for testing. They also said that they'd press Wouxun to provide the memory data layout as well.

The beta 980P driver currently works for the 1000G.
Also, I will shortly begin working on a 1000G+ driver that I hope to make compatible with the 1000G. If not, I would release a 1000G driver shortly thereafter.

the 980P driver has been submitted for inclusion into Chirp Daily builds.
The 980P driver can/should be used for the KG-1000G.

The 1000G driver is in development. This request is not a duplicate of the 1000G+ Request #10109. The 1000G+ is separate radio that requires it's own functional development.
