Description

I originally set up my UV-25x2 with no issues. The settings tab in the Chirp download was there I even set up items I wanted to be the way I wanted them. I recently updated all my frequencies. I copied the frequencies from my UV5R and pasted them in my download from the uv25x2, I uploaded to radio and it finished, I went back to review my settings and noticed the settings tab was blank. I can still manually set all the settings but would like to do it thru Chirp. Let me know if you need anything else from me, Thank you

Your BTech UV-25X4 has an out-of-range/invalid menu 47 (OFFSET) of the display line A VFO. The other three VFOs have unusual values as well (but at least they are in-range).

You can probably fix it yourself by...

tap the [EXIT/ABCD] button as needed to select display line A.

tap the [V/M] button as needed to select VFO (frequency) mode.

edit menu 47 [OFFSET] to have a valid value (000.000-999.999). Try 000.600 or 005.000.

download from your radio into CHRIP

The Settings tabs should now be visible.

Or just use the attached CHIRP Radio Images (*.img) file. It is a copy of your "image" with A VFO's OFFSET set to [000.000].
