Description

I'm working with a BTECH GMRS-20V2.

(1) CHIRP will not import "Tone" = "Cross"; it imports "Cross" as "TSQL".

(2) Relatedly[?], CHIRP does not export the "DTCS RX Code" or "Cross Mode" fields to a .CSV file at all. I assume it also doesn't import them, but I don't know the column names to test this assumption.

If you don't have access to one of these radios, I'm happy to guinea pig patches with mine.

Thanks.

This is not a bug related to the GMRS-20V2, it is the way CHIRP works. CHRIP works this way for all radios.

CHIRP's support for CSV files does not support "split" DTCS codes. The way CSV file are implemented, there is only 1 field for DTCS (DtcsCode). So CSV files can only support channels that have the same DTCS code for both TX and RX. If you need to use Tone Mode = Cross for DTCS codes to support some form of asymmetrical DTCS codes (@DTCS->DTCS, DTCS->, ->DTCS, DTCS->Tone, Tone->DTCS, etc@), then you must use the native CHIRP Radio Image (*.img) file to save and load them.
