Description

Some users comment that after adding channel(s) in Chirp and uploading to the radio, the channel does not show up on the radio. The channel does show in Chirp and the data is showing in the img.

This may be happening on other 9 series radios as well.

It looks like the original 9D Plus Driver that the 9PX is based on did not update all the necessary memory spots for some radios. There are data bytes that apparently some radios use to determine whether to display a channel or not. I can not explain why my test radio does not seem to need these data bytes or why others seem to need them, possibly a firmware difference???
