Description

When uploading to radio it is not saving the offsets correctly. for example...Trying to program a repeater it has + offset of 5.0000. when upload completes unable to speak on channel. When checking menu the offset is set at 0.6000. I have not yet found a way to correct. If i try to fix on radio itself it does not save and changes the offset on all the channels.

These radios don't use or store "offsets" in programmed channels. They instead store the RX frequency and the direct TX frequency. The radio, when in MR (channel) mode, displays a "+-" symbol in the upper status display area whenever the RX frequency and TX frequency are not the same (as would be the case for a repeater, odd-split, cross-band or TX disabled channel). If you select the repeater channel in a display line that has its MDF (Memory Display Format) set to FREQ (see the MDF-A and MDF-B menus), you will see the RX frequency. When you press the PTT button, the programmed TX frequency will be displayed.
