Description
I am looking for support for my Handheld radio(Tonfa UV-985) . I have the means to hookup with my computer witch is the new Windows 8.1 version. The cord that I purchaced came with a disc but I don't know if it does have correct software for my radio. I don't want to put something in my computer that isn't the correct software for my radio.

The Tonfa UV-985 looks like a Baofeng BF-F8HP variant. I would try reading is as that radio.
As far as the disc that came with the programming cable, don't even bother with it. Visit the Miklor.com website and get the compatible device driver and instructions to install it there.
