Attempted to use the IC-746 profile for the IC-746PRO, which I now know is known to NOT work. However I was asked to upload my resulting debug log to this bug report, so here it is, I hope it's useful.

Rick, looks like communication is working as expected, but just the memory format needs to be decoded. Unfortunately the manual doesn't describe the structure like the later manuals do, so you'll have to decode it manually (like most drivers are done). At the very least, the name is easy to spot. If channel 1 is 145.190MHz then I spot that as well. Maybe 144.950 is the TX frequency?
