Haven't seen this request, so hope this is not a duplicate.
The TYT (Tytera) MD-380 is a popular DMR radio. There is programming software available for it, but it's fairly useless and only works under windows. I'd be happy to loan one for as long as is needed.

I see Travis Goodspeed has done some initial support on GitHub, https://github.com/travisgoodspeed/md380tools/tree/master/chirp, which may speed progress of formal support in Chirp.

Is there any update on this? The factory software is not Linux compatible and would love for Chirp to support the MD UV380 as well as the MD9600.
