Description
Hi, someone please can help me, I downloaded CHIRP Daily 20180412 in connecting the Baofeng UV-82HX with firmware N82301 gives me an error that says "Incorrect Model Selected" and then restarts by itself. I tried to connect an identical and I go to perfection. Why..?? the radio is broken or is a software configuration problem ... ??.

Although the radios may be of the same model, they may be operating on different versions of the firmware. I experienced this with my GT-5TP. It would not program via chirp due to the version of firmware it was operating on, however when I downloaded the VIP version of the software from Baofeng (found here https://baofengtech.com/software/UV82HP_CPS.zip) I was able to program the radio with ease.

You don't provide enough information. For example you don't say which model you are choosing and don't include a debug log.
That being said, I've seen several radios that answer to the "magic" for a UV-82 but then reply back to CHIRP that indicates it is a UV-5R. I would imagine that is the case here.
