Description

Not sure if this is a Chirp issue or Windows 10 issue. Ive been using Chirp to program my AnyTones AT-5888UV. When reading the programming on the radio, Ive been getting a "Slow Read Error" and locks up the radio and cannot get the programming. Ive used 2 computers that has the lastest version of Chirp do this. The 3rd computer worked but was running an older version of Chirp. I had even thought maybe a bad cable, but all 3 computers work with the AnyTone software. Also noticed when using Chirp, it takes longer than normal to process the information. Very slow. Any help would be truly appreciated.

  • Status changed from New to Feedback
  • Target version set to chirp-legacy
  • Chirp Version changed from 0.4.0 to daily

Have you tried with a recent version since you submitted this? 0.4.0 is pretty old.
If you haven't, and if you're still having this issue, please refer to the Wiki "How To Report Issues" and provide a debug log. Thanks!
