Description
Both 1/12 and 1/20 versions will not start after install w/o error messages.
Win10
Core i5
No problems before 1/12 version overwrote working version.The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the
Event mgr shows:
COM Server application with CLSID
{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}
and APPID
{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}
to the user LAPTOP-R8HBQJVK\Patricia SID (S-1-5-21-4156812039-718712080-3467485625-1003) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
Does this mean I need Admin privileges to run CHIRP?

Some users reported that disabling the virus scanner during installation helped.
Also, you should install the latest version, not 0.4.0.
