Description

The European model of Yaesu FT-4X (FT-4XE) DOES allow for a 6.25 step in the frequency. Chirp, however, does not allow this step when saving the frequency in the table.

[ft4] Add Yaesu FT-4XE. Fixes: #7189
This patch adds support for the Yaesu FT-4XE to Chirp. It offers an additional tune step of 6.25 kHz.

Hello Erik, I would be very interested in getting an image of your FT-4XE. Any image would be fine, even one obtained right after a factory reset. I might then be able to fix the 6.25 kHz tune step problem.

Hi Bernhard

I'll fix that, but I'm not sure what you mean with an image. Do you want me to dump the channels with Chirp and send you the results? That's not a problem. If you need something like a copy of the rom chips, I need some sort of guide on how to do that.
