CHIRP used to support the Baofeng UV-5XP, but no longer, as of, like, December 2019. Could you please support it again?

How so. What model do you select? What no longer happens? If there are error messages, what are they. Which older version of CHIRP works? Attached a previously saved CHIRP Radio Images (*.img) file from your radio.

This issue is closely related to #7515. The UV-5XP is supported by Chirp, but apparently some newer models have a revised firmware, which won't cooperate any more. This needs to be addressed in the driver - and for that, #7515 is the right place to continue the discussion.
