Description
Obtained new UV-82 Version N82302. Firmware is N822413. When I Push 6 and power on I get 190831M on the "6+ power on" line. I go into chirp, lastest build as of 12-01-2020,erase the 190831M and customize that with our units call and ID number go to load into the radio and it does not load into it. Only one line comes up in chirp on the firmware line (top one) and bottom line is blank. Would like to remove this info and customize this area of my radio. Any help apprecited.

This is not a CHIRP bug. Some of the more recent radios aren't allowing CHIRP access to the "aux" memory area where the firmware version and 6 + Power-On message is store. Sorry, but the limitation is your radio.
