Description

I am trying to program a BaoFeng 82C radio.
I was successful in connecting and programming using the software located here:
https://www.miklor.com/UV82/UV82C-Software.php

However using CHIRP - I do not get the "popup" when selecting "Download from Radio"
This is a FTDI Chip USB cable with no errors on COM3

Well, I take it all back, I reinstalled a Daily version (chirp-daily-20210110) and it works now.

A common issue with UV-82 style radios is not getting the 2-pin plug fully inserted in the socket. The metal pins can stick in the metal rings of the socket making you think the plug is solidly in the socket when in reality it has a short distance to go. I would have sworn mine was fully inserted. I eventually got the hang of inserting it fully on the first try.
