Description
It does not detect my FT-60, and the error in the subject line says the driver is not supported in Windows 11 or later which is what I have. This error is shown in Device Manager.
When I try to run the Chirp program, it does not detect my radio and gives the error 433.

This is not a CHIRP issue. The problem is one of the following...
The chip in the programming cable is a Prolific PL2303XA which is end-of-life. The latest device driver automatatically installed by Windows is not compatible with this chip. In order to use a programming cable containing this chip with Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 or 11, you must download, install and select the older Prolific v3.2.0.0 driver. With Windows XP you will need the Prolific v2.0.2.1 driver. A link to the driver and instructions for installing and selecting it are "here":https://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_Drivers.php.
The chip in the programming cable is a WCH CH340 and Windows has incorrectly detected it as a Prolific chip and installed the wrong driver. In order to use this programming cable you will have to download and install the WCH CH340 driver. A Link to the driver is "here":https://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_Drivers.php. If @#1@ fixes the issue, just be aware that Windows will upgrade the driver from time to time and it will stop working. You will just have to repeat the process to get it working again.
I would try @#2@ first since it is the simplest of the workarounds to do. If it works, then you are done. If it doesn't work, then proceed with the workaround for @#1@.

The latest Prolific drivers installed by Windows have dropped support for the PL2303TA ships. So to retain support for the EOL (end of life) chips you must roll the driver back as follows:
PL2303TA: must use driver v3.8.39.0 or prior
PL2303XA: must use driver v3.3.2.105 or prior (v3.2.0.0 recommended)
I have rolled back to the v3.2.0.0 driver in my Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers to cover both the XA and TA chips.
