Description

Hello Team,

I cannot program any 70 cm channel on my Baofeng UV-5R+ (same error on Wouxoun KG-UV6D), using whatever cable or settings.

Programming 2 m channels (including offset, tone etc.) just works fine but all frequencies in the 70 cm range immediately give the error "Fehler beim Setzen der Speicher: Frequency 438.000000 is out of supported range Tx freq 443.000000 is out of supported range".

(I don't know where it's taking the 443 MHz from tho as I didn't enter that).

This already happens when entering into CHIRP, it's not even at the point of uploading anything to the device yet! And yes, I downloaded all channels from the device first, saved to disk and then try to change them. On the device, I can of course enter these frequencies manually.

The same happens when I load the German 70 cm channels from the stock config, it's also not possible to add them to the list.

How do I program such channels such as 438,850 MHz / 431.250 MHz (-0.6)?

Frank
