Description
chirp-daily-20130521 and newer seem to fail immediately when requesting download from radio; Fills the frequency name column with "ERROR."
chirp-daily-20130515 and older function correctly and download from the radio.
2011 MacBook Pro
OS 10.8.4
KK7DS_Python_Runtime_R10
USB to serial adapter by FTDI, product ID 0x6001
Icom IC-91AD.

I'm experiencing the same issue, though I don't know if it is operator error or a problem with the software/cabling. Can anyone confirm that version 0.4.1 works with the ICOM IC-91AD?

This bug have been duplicated by #1649, daily version after 3-6-2014 should work.
Doan, can you please try an up to date daily version and report back?

Daily - 20141025 appears to work. I'm new to the program, so I'm not familiar with the operation... but I have been able to download the frequencies from the radio.
I also reverted to the FTDI driver version 2.10.0 (I was using 2.12.0)
