0%
Description
Mac OSX 12.4 (current)
Python 2.7.16 Installed, then
Chirp chirp-unified-daily-20220703.app installed.
See screenshots.
It would be nice to be able to use the Mac version...

You say "see screenshots". Perhaps you could attach them? :-)

- Subject changed from Mac OSX 12 (Montrrey) screen windows show gibberish to Mac OSX 12 (Monterey) screen windows show gibberish
- Model affected changed from (All models) to MacOS issue
- Platform changed from Windows to MacOS
Is this still an issue? Otherwise we'd like to close the ticket. Thanks.

Thank you for the feedback. I haven't had time to load Chirp for MacOS for a while.
I just did today. The issue is still there. See attachment. This machine cannot get the latest OS, so I'm still on Monterey.

The screenshot you posted is not "the latest". Get the latest CHIRP-next from the Download page.

Okay - I thought I'd done it right... maybe not.
So, I D/Led the latest, unzipped it, It shows just "Chirp". The About item shows 20221217. Not "Chirp Next". I opened it, got the same as the screenshots, so I D/Led the stock FRS / GMRS just to see if my file was causing problems - no, it acts the same...

20221217 is the last legacy daily build. Go to Download and read the page. CHIRP-next is the most current version available, it is listed first, above the daily/legacy build. Click the download link for next and download that.

Wow!
Thank you for your kindness! You coulda said "READ!" :-)
That seems to have done it. I just read / wrote to my new Baofeng UV-H7 using Radioodity GA-510. It works well!
Maybe - just maybe - I don't need Parallels / Win11!

Cool, glad to hear it. I'm going to close this as "rejected" because there's nothing for us to do now. Thanks!
