Just thought I'd let you guys know that I have a QYT KT-980 PLUS gen 2 model radio and have been successfully programming it for MONTHS now with Chirp using the "QYT KT8900D" model programming selection with zero issues or errors whatsoever, dunno if you wanted to add it to your supported models list!
