Description
another thing I've noticed is that the feature for "Tail Mode" is not present inside the "Settings" in CHIRP, but this option exists in the official TYT software in English inside "Optional Features".

MELERIX. Please supply two or 3 CHIRP Radio Image (*.img) files, the only difference between them being the 'Tail Mode' setting. One set to 120, another set to 240 and possibly one set to 180.

I got the tail eliminate flag. However, all the tail mode variants of the file seem identical. For example:
$ md5sum TYT_TH-UVF8D_20230211\ \(Tail\ Eliminate\ _On_\ +\ Tail\ Mode\ _Frequency_\).img TYT_TH-UVF8D_20230211\ \(Tail\ Eliminate\ _On_\ +\ Tail\ Mode\ _180_\).img

seems is a bug, because it also happens in the OEM software, because I've put again "120" and saved the radio in OEM software, then closed the OEM software, then I've opened it again, and load the radio again, and tail mode is still in "Frequency" mode, so maybe only that mode works for tail eliminate.

Okay, so should I close this or are you working on additional images to help find the tail mode bits?
Updated by MELERIX . almost 2 years ago
yes, it can be closed I guess for now, due the other modes does not work in oem software either, so only Frequency mode works for tail mode.
