I have 6 of these radios for our county Emergency Operations Center. I also have 4 or 5 of the TYT UV8000E's (w/crossband repeat). The factory programming software is horrible and these 8-10 Watt radios are great for APRS/packet or temporary crossband repeat. They are vital to our EOCs mission, but such a pain to program.
I am willing to give one of each of these to the Chirp team for development of software.
