Description
I am in need of help - We are trying to upload channels to 4 baofeng radios that are not being recognized - the error message below appears after I "download from radio" and attempt to "upload to radio". Download from radio is not problem. Uploading is the problem. I have the latest version of CHIRP installed. We were able to complete the process on another Baofeng firmware N5R-213BFB297 Please advise
Error Message
The upload was stopped because the firmware version of the image (N5R-213BFB297 ) does not match that of the radio (N5R-219BFB297 )

They are being recognized. CHIRP recognizes them and sees that the firmware version of the CHIRP Radio Images (*.img) file that you are trying to upload does not exactly match the firmware version of the radio that you are uploading it to. It is by design that you are not permitted to do that.
What you will have to do is download from the radio to CHIRP which creates a tab that is compatible with the radio. Then load the file that has the channels that you want to transfer to the second radio into CHIRP to create a second tab. Then you can cut-and-paste the channels from one tab to the other. Then upload the edited tab back into the radio.
Another method, the one I actually prefer, is to Import the source image (File -> Import) into the tab from the destination radio.
