Description
I have just acquired this model and notice there is no support for this model. Attached is the software that i found to work on my win 10 machine (after replacing the 2303 adapter with an FTDI unit of course).
Cheers
Micah

Please update to use with the TYT UV8000E. I would be willing to make donation if you could get it to work with this radio. I have 6 of these units. Thanks

It would be great to have the TYT UV8000E supported. It is one of the few crossband repeat capable handhelds out there and this can be very useful in emergency situations. I use CHIRP for all my other radios, and being able to share programming files between radios is one of the awesome capabilities CHIRP provides. Thanks!

I have 4 or 5 of these radios for our county Emergency Operations Center. I also have 6 of the TYT UV8000D's (w/crossband repeat). The factory programming software is horrible and these 8-10 Watt radios are great for APRS/packet or temporary crossband repeat. They are vital to our EOCs mission, but such a pain to program.
I am willing to give one of each of these to the Chirp team for programming of software.

Also looking for Chirp to support the UV8000e, it's the only radio I own that isn't supported.
Thank you

Many folks have asked for the UV8000E (and UV8000D) to be added. Many have volunteered to give or loan them even. I’ll loan my UV8000E as well. Seems not many, if any, of the analog TYT’s have been added to CHIRP for some reason (?).

Note: I have an extensive Memory Map and captures available that I performed on my UV-8000D attached to the "New Model #4437" ticket.
I can collect any data or perform tests if required.
