Description

Did look through the past issues using a simple 'baofeng' filter and couldn't see anything similar.
I'm trying to identify individual tuning parameters for the BF-UV10R, in a similar way that CHIRP is able to download & subsequently modify squelch levels.
Using WireShark USB monitoring, it can be seen that CHIRP downloads what appears to be an entire tuning parameter data block, but will not write the entire parameter data block back to the radio, only partial bits of it.
This seems odd, as the user is permitted to change - but not write to the radio - many raw hex values that appear in the tuning parameter data block via the Browser tab if Developer Functions are enabled.
I suspect this may apply to other Baofeng models too.
Falling half way between an issue and new feature request: would like to see entire .img file written verbatim to the radio, if developer functions are enabled to facilitate experimentation for advanced users who understand the risk of making such changes.
