The BF-F9V2+ is supported. The following is from the Supported Radio Models list on the "CHIRP home/wiki":https://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Home page.

It would not be practical for CHIRP to list all Baofeng radio models the UI. There would be over 40 radio models listed for "UV-5R variants":http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Baofeng_UV5R_Variants alone. This would make it difficult to find and choose the models that must be listed separately.

It seems that your laptop has the "Hide Unused Fields" setting enabled (the default for new CHIRP installations and what is recommended for users that don't understand how CHIRP uses the columns related to selective squelch). That way the row fields that are being ignored/unused by CHIRP based on the Tone Mode selection would be blank.

Apparently the "Hide Unused Fields" setting has been disabled on the computer that you took the initial CHIRP screen captures from. When this setting is disabled, CHIRP shows values in all the row fields whether they are being used by CHIRP or not (giving you the impression that the settings are "scrambled" in some way).

I believe your issue would be solved if you would click "View" in the menu bar and set "Hide Unused Fields" back to enabled. That way the unused row fields would once again be "hidden" from view and display as blank fields.

For example...

• with Tone Mode of channel 0 set to "(None)", none of the values in the fields for columns "Tone" though "Cross Mode" are used by CHIRP regardless of what values are in them.
• with Tone Mode of channel 1 set to "DTCS", only the field values in the "DTCS Code" and "DTCS Pol" columns are used by CHIRP. The field values in the other columns are ignored.
• with Tone Mode of channel 3 set to "TSQL", only the field value in the "ToneSql" column is used by CHIRP. The field values in the other columns are ignored.
• with Tone Mode of channel 7 set to "Tone", only the field value in the "Tone" column is used by CHIRP. The field values in the other columns are ignored.

By enabling "Hide Unused Fields" and switching between the various "Tone Mode" selections, you will be able to see which fields are in use for each mode and which ones aren't. The values in the unused/ignored fields do not affect the programming of the radio in any way.
